The techniques and knowledge of Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage are based on the theory of the 5 elements, water, earth, fire, air and ether, the doshas and 7 energy centres (aka chakras) - which makes it primarily an energy rebalancing massage.

Time & Location

10 Feb 2023, 10:00 – 12 Feb 2023, 17:00

Vers-Pont-du-Gard, 30210 France

About the event

Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage is used in India and acts on circuits called "nadis", which are partly the energetic transposition of the nervous system. When these circuits are drained, cleaned and maintained, it allows a "fluid" distribution of prana (vital energy) and the harmonisation of the different systems of the physical and etheric bodies.

The objective of this massage is to contact a general well-being on the psychic level as well as on the physical level. Thanks to its rhythm and its specific moderate and fluid gestures, but also through sliding pressure, friction (Indian), acupressure and stretching, Abhyanga has the assets that make it a complete and powerful massage.

Over 3 days of training , we approach (in a complementary way to the massage) the fundamentals of Ayurveda, its ancestral body disciplines and meditation.

Held in partnership with RENATO PAPPALARDO FORMATION specialist in Energy Balancing Massage and Therapy practitioner training based in the South of France.

The venue, formerly part of an ashram, has reasonably priced dorm style accomodation, communal areas and kitchen. The practice room is comfortable, spacious, carpeted, light large space with underfloor heating during winter.

Vers-Pont-du-Gard is a village in proximity to Uzes and Avignon with a weekly local produce market, bakery, convenience store, restaurants and bars. Walking paths in nature and the river are close by.
